The Vegan Kind August Beauty Box

I’m a little late to the party with this post but I hope you all don’t mind! I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on the products in the August Vegan Kind Beauty Box! This box has so many great things in it and I’ve honestly been using pretty much everything from it.

This months box comes with 6 products, one of which is a bonus product! Firstly theres the Miss Patisserie Watermelon Bath Slab.I actually have got around to using this just yet but it smells delicious and is supposed to leave your skin feeling lovely and soft so I cant wait to give it a go. The colours of the slab also suggest that my bath water will turn a pretty colour too! Theres also the Skin Paw Paw Ointment, which has gained its place in my handbag. I’ve been using it a lot on my cuticles and its worked wonders and making them soft and keeping them nourished. You can also use this on your lips or anywhere you get dry skin. I’ve been loving it so far. I’ve already used up the candle in this box which is the Harpers Candles Sweet Pea Soy Wax candle, it was a very lovely floral scent that made my bathroom smell amazing. My only quibble is that I wish this candle was a lot bigger so it could’ve lasted a lot longer. One product I’ve been using more than I thought is the Rawganic Pure Hydrating Facial Wipes, they’ve been great for making my skin feel fresh in the mornings if I’m in a rush and don’t have the time to go in with a full on cleanser. Most face wipes tend to dry my skin out or make my acne flare up but these haven’t done anything of the sort. They’re also made from organic cotton and they are biodegradable so no need to worry about the planet when using these either. One product I wasn’t sure of when I first swatched it wad the GlitterEyes GlowUp Highlighter. It felt really chunky when I swatched it and I was super worried about how this would transfer onto the skin. After reading into it a bit more, I’ve now realised that it works best if you just put a very small amount onto your finger tip and pat it gently onto the cheekbones. When you use it this way it gives a very beautiful glow, and since you only need a tiny amount, I’m pretty sure its going to last me a very long time! The bonus item in this box is a bit controversial for me. Its the Utan and Tone Tan Gummies. These are supposed to help give you a tan without sun or boost your tan if you are going to be getting a little sun exposure. I’ve been taking 2-3 of these a day for 2 weeks now and I can honestly say I don’t look any different! I’ve also been hitting the sunbeds about 3 times a week so its not as if I haven’t been getting a little UV here and there. I’m going to keep taking these and see how it goes but for now I’m on the fence! Overall I’m super happy with everything in this box, and I love that everything is vegan and cruelty free.
