Summer Beauty Heros // Bronze & Glow

The weather here in Scotland has been so good over the past few weeks! Which has really put me in the mood for switching up my makeup for some more summer vibes. I wish this weather would last forever but I know that in no time at all, its going to be winter again.

Firstly, starting with my base, I’ve been loving the Urban Decay One & Done. Its such a beautiful lightweight product and it makes my skin look lovely and smooth while looking like I’ve hardly got anything on my skin at all. This is one of the only products that I like to apply with my fingers, I feel like it works the best when warmed up a little for a super seamless look. Its also got a little SPF in it so it helps with the extra rays we’ve been seeing lately. Speaking of SPF, I’ve been using the Pixi Sun Mist under my foundation, for a little extra layer of protection and I really am impressed with it. It doesn’t have that horrible suncream feel to it and the spray comes out the bottle in a really fine mist so you don’t really have to put much effort into rubbing it in.  It sits well under my foundation and doesn’t really change the texture of my skin or make my face any oiler, which is great! For a little extra colour, I’ve been using the Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint Bronzing Fluid, not only is this great to mix with your foundation to change the colour – it works great as a liquid bronzer too. It has a slight shimmer through it so it really adds a nice bit of colour and glow to the complexion. Other bronzers I’ve been a fan of lately, it the Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer (which is my all time favourite and I probably mention it in every post) and the Clinique Chubby Stick Contour – which is super easy to use and more like a bronzer than a contour on my pale skin. Both are very pretty and are great colours. For a little glow here and there, I’ve been obsessed with the Iconic London Illuminator – this stuff is seriously the most glowy highlighter I’ve ever used! You only need a tiny amount and it really makes your skin beam. I’ve also been loving the Becca Opal Highlighter, which is super pretty and not something I can usually pull of when I’m super pale. It has a really lovely golden undertone to it which looks beautiful with a tan. Lastly, for easiness, I’ve been using a lot of the Eyeko brow gel through my brows as it coats the hairs with a nice tint and lasts all day. It also minimises the amount of time I have to spend filling in my eyebrows too! And, is it even a summer post without mentioning the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume? This stuff smells like summer holidays, its beautiful.

What are your favourite products for the summer?
