Long time, no blog. But, I’m back, and for now I might have to cut down my blogging schedule to once a week with the occasional twice a week appearance. I started a new job at the beginning on the month and its been pretty non stop. I’m learning a lot and also have a lot to learn so any free time I’ve had, I’ve taken to myself. I miss blogging though, and I miss talking about all the products I’m using and loving! I picked up a set from Liz Earle recently and thought it was worth sharing since you can save quite a hefty chunk of money.
This is the Liz Earle Essentials August 2017 set, which has their famous Cleanse & Polish Original, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Skin Repair Moisturiser, Sheer Skin Tint and the Sheer Skin Tint Bronzing Fluid, all for just £49 at the moment! If you haven’t tried the Cleanse and Polish already then you are seriously missing out. Its a cult product for a reason, and to be honest its a cleanser I always to back to because it cleanses my skin without stripping it or leaving a layer of product on top. Its lightly scented but I think every skin type would love this. The rest of the products in this set are all new to me. The Instant Boost Skin Tonic is a toner which I actually have really enjoyed using. A lot of the time I skip out on toner but this really refreshes my skin after cleansing and leaves it feeling soothed and radiant. I’ve just been using it at night time but I could definitely get away with using this in the morning as well as it isn’t too powerful and I think my dry skin actually really loves it! With this set you can choose from the moisturiser for dry/sensitive skin or oily/normal skin. My skin is as dry as a desert so I opted for the dry skin choice. This is a pretty thick moisturiser and it comes in a generous 50ml size, it really hydrates my skin and almost leaves a protective barrier over the top of it. It pretty much makes my dry patches vanish over night and sometimes I actually wake up with a little bit of oil on my face (this is a miracle for me!). I have to be careful not to over use this, and make sure I give my other moisturisers a little bit of love though, because its so rich and hydrating I’ve noticed it can make my skin break out a little. Nothing too major, just worth bearing in mind. In terms of the two skin tints, I’ve been obsessed with both! The Sheer Skin Tint is the perfect tinted moisturiser that I think I’ve been looking for my entire life. Its a lightweight feeling product that feels very much like a skincare product when its on the skin and despite it being light coverage, you can definitely build it up to a more medium coverage if you need to. The Sheer Tint Bronzing Fluid is also pretty amazing, a beautiful liquid bronzer that very much melts into the skin. I’m crazy pale and this never looks orange or muddy, only ever bronzed and beautiful. I adore liquid bronzers as I always feel like they look a lot more natural on the skin over powders! Overall, I’m super happy I took advantage of this offer, and its still available for a little while longer!
